We are against all types of prohibitions as to occupation; we are against discrimination based on sex, age, nationality, political, religion when job seeking; against any restrictions for free movement around the country and abroad. All citizens should enjoy the guaranteed right to leave the country without restrictions and the right to return to their home country. To achieve this, it is necessary to abolish the system of domicile registration; this should not be a requirement for employment in a democratic country.
We stand for real strengthening of economic democracy, where employees participate in enterprise management through the system of collective agreements. We support the role of employees as company shareholders and strengthening effective control of trade unions over employers.
Principles of social partnership are to become the basis of the new relations between employers and employees under the conditions of developing market economy. They will ensure real equality of employees in their relations with the employers.
The state is the guarantor of such partnership. In the process of preparing and approving the General Agreement between the Government, Trade Unions and employers, and based on it - industrial, tariff and regional agreements - the state is to ensure conformity and mutual acceptability of requirements of the parties and social norms regarding wages, terms of employment, state support for enterprises, labour protection, social security and social insurance.
Special role in protecting the interests of workers, adherence to labour legislation, ensuring decent conditions of work and rest is played by trade unions. We support development of trade union movement and creating new independent trade unions, we view them as allies of workers in realisation of social and democratic strategy of social policy. We support their consistent struggle for all employees equally enjoy norms of the labour legislation irrespective of the enterprise form of ownership (hiring, dismissal, duration of working day, vacations, resolving labour disputes and conflicts). We intend to accomplish real equality of rights of trade unions with the state and employers in managing non-budget social funds.
