8.1. The SDPU(U), oblast, rayon, city and equated with them party organizations are legal entities since the moment of their state registrations, they have their own funds and balances, bank accounts, round seals with the party's logo and name on them, seals and stamps. On their behalf they can obtain property and individual non-property rights, bear responsibilities, act as plaintiffs and defendants in judicial bodies.

8.2. The SDPU(U) has its symbols, including the party's anthem, flag, symbol (emblem), logo, can have pennants, badges, other attributes, which are the same for the entire party. The party's symbols are registered in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. Oblast, equated with them, rayon, city and primary party organizations use the party's name with addenda showing their place in the party's organizational structure.

The use of the SDPU(U)'s name and logo without an official written consent of the party' central bodies (except for structural subdivisions and other official bodies of the party) is illegal and prosecuted by the law in accordance with the established procedure.

8.3. All the party documents are property of the SDPU(U) and are kept in the party archive.

8.4. The SDPU(U), oblast, equated with them, city, rayon and primary party organizations can stop their activity by means of reorganization (amalgamation, division or incorporation) or elimination. Under the current legislation, decisions on reorganization or elimination (dissolution) are to be taken by the congress, conference and are to be supported by over two thirds of those present.

8.5. The decision on liquidation of the SDPU(U) can be taken by the congress, in which case it is to be approved by over two thirds of its delegates, or a court. The congress or another body that made the decision on elimination of the party creates an elimination commission.

The decision on elimination of the SDPU(U) leads to elimination of oblast, equated with them, city, rayon and primary party organizations, their leading bodies and termination of membership in the party.

The elimination commission is the only body having the right to represent the party's interests during the elimination procedure.

After all of creditors' legal claims are satisfied, the commission takes a decision on the party's property and funds, which cannot be divided between party members and are to be used for realization of tasks stipulated in the Statute or charitable purposes.

8.6. Liquidation of a party organization can take place by the decision of the higher-ranking party organization if the number of its members has decreased below the minimum level or by a court decision. The body that made the decision on elimination creates an elimination commission, which settles all the property issues of the party organization which is being eliminated in accordance with the current legislation.

8.7. If the state's administrative and territorial organization is changed, reorganization is mandatory and is held on the basis of the decision of higher-ranking party organizations' leading bodies.
